I have used Rich (TT Exhausts ) since I had my first air-cooled performance engine.  His systems work extremely well and I would not trust any other exhaust fabricator to build my race headers or road exhaust.  The finish and fit is exactly what you would expect from a bespoke fabricator.

I’ve known Rich for years, and have always been impressed with the standards of his work, so when it came to an exhaust for my 1958 Ragtop Beetle, which I had been undertaking a 5 year nut and bolt restoration on, I was only ever go to him, and he didn’t disappoint.

Getting a 2332cc engine into the engine bay of an early Volkswagen is hard enough, but, when the client (me) also wants to fit a turbo and EFi including all the plumbing and wiring that entails then the fabricator making up the exhaust and induction system has better know what they are doing.

After my previous experience I returned to Turbo Thomas for my Peugeot 205. I had just performed an engine swap so needed an exhaust to suit. Once again, Richard’s personal approach meant I was happy to go ahead with the work. The result was exactly what I wanted.

I was looking for something a little different than the “off-the-shelf” exhausts available for my Honda S2000 Track car to really reduce weight. After speaking with Richard it was clear he had really listened to my requirements so I went ahead with the work. The result was a cleverly thought out system that worked perfectly.

I became aware of TT Exhaust years ago via some mates who knew him from the Vee Dub scene. I was looking for someone to build me a one-of-a-kind, custom exhaust for my air cooled Porsche track car. It meant starting from scratch, building the thing up on the car and routing it to work.
